Stromness
I am a Senior Product Manager by day, designing and managing the development of software for a company based in Aberdeen.
Girlfriend in a Coma by Douglas Coupland although I am more of a non-fiction reader.
The letters, but if you pinned me down it might be the last chapter of John. I love the picture of Jesus having a last BBQ at the beach before going back to the father!
Very hard question, probably Interstellar. I like the dialog about love not being bound by the rules of space and time something that is part of a higher dimension. Also, because it has spaceships!
Another very hard question as it changes on for season and mode but i think my all time favourite would be Bloom by Beach House.
Errrr, I would argue that, Window in the Sky by U2 is and that would be one of my favourites. I love finding lyric in popular songs that point to a greater truth and U2 have some quite obvious ones!
“The rule has been disproved, The stone has been moved,
The grave is now a groove, All debts are removed,
Oh can’t you see what love has done?”
Chicken Pie, Chips and a Pint of Ale
Like Rachael I would love to visit Japan, I would also like to visit Iceland. I would also like to learn to sail so we could explore more of Orkney and further a field.
Skaill Beach, but I also really like just walking the high street in Stromness too.
I like photojournalism and have always admired the work and ethos of Tim Hetherington. I would have loved the opportunity to meet him learn more about his experiences of mankind in conflict.
About 2006, that’s when I would say I discovered faith was different from religion and who Jesus was.
I attended a Church of England when I was younger but would say I stared ‘going’ to church in 2006.
Married to my best friend Rachael with 2 boys.
